Funded entirely through the generosity of Freemasons and their families, the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is one of the largest grant-making charities in the country.
We build better lives by enabling opportunity, advancing healthcare and education and promoting independence.
Here at the Wychwood Lodge we are passionate about supporting good causes in our local community of Burford. If you know of any person or organisation who might benefit from our assistance please contact us.
In 1729, the Crown Lodge 58 was founded and met in the Crown Tavern on Cornmarket Street in Oxford, where the Vodafone store is today and where some of the original building still remains. In 2029, Oxfordshire Freemasons will be celebrating 300 years of Freemasonry in Oxfordshire, and to mark this occasion, a Tercentenary Appeal has been launched where all the money raised will be given to charities within Oxfordshire. Each Lodge and Chapter will also have an opportunity to decide how some of the money we raise is distributed.
The Tercentenary Appeal Relief Chest is now set up, accepting donations from Lodges, Chapters and individuals. Donations can be made using the relief chest number: OXF300 or by this link: https://donate.givetap.co.uk/d/ke4i9yrg?qr-id=oxf300
